All in God’s Timing

“Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.” Psalms 37:7

“But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.” Isaiah 40:31

In most instances, we do not mind waiting for something longed for to come to pass as long as it does not seem to take forever.  However, when waiting for what we are anticipating becomes a long-drawn-out process, waiting gets stressful even consuming. But while we wait, let us rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for Him.  The Lord’s timetable is different from ours but His timing is always precise.  We cannot allow ourselves to become weary due to waiting.  We must put our hope or assurance in Him.  If we believe and trust the Lord, then we must be patient knowing the Lord will deliver at the appropriate time.

Consider this, when we are trusting in the Lord, we must truly understand the importance of waiting, our strength will be renewed.  Why?  Waiting really positions us to believe even more in God’s Word.  Waiting becomes an exercise to build faith and make our faith stronger.   Understand while we are waiting, God is working it out for our good, in fact, for our excellence in Him.

Therefore, do not become concerned about others when it appears, they are getting prompt turnaround blessings.  Stay prayerful and remain focused on God’s PROMISE.  The Book of Hebrews 11:6 states, “But without faith, it is impossible to please him:  for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”

Therefore, while waiting remain a diligently seeker. What God has confirmed will come to pass.  As a result, when the Lord delivers, it will be blessings beyond our imagination.  We will mount up with wings as eagles and oversee the greatness the Lord has provided through us waiting patiently.  It is all in God’s timing.

Blessings,

  1. See my comments on the adjoining “Have Faith in God” article. … I am exclaiming that FAITH (and corresponding Patience, which is Minister Dawson’s great article) is the most important thing in the Christian life, after Love. Why? Because the Bible teaches you LIVE by it. Without it, you DIE, FALTER and FAIL. It’s that simple. … Brothers and Sisters — Believe. Believe your God. There is no shadow of turning with Him. None.

  2. This site continues to showcase that Faith and Trust are absolutely essential to living the Christian life. … Minister Dawson brings Waiting home. … Always remember this: Faith and Patience are the Power Twins.
