Filled With Fullness

While I was preparing for another project that I will be involved in a particular thought begin to take shape as I was reading through this verse of scripture from Eph 3:19, And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.

The thought pertained to experiencing the fullness of God and whether I view that as something I can obtain. When I think about the fullness of God it brings to mind being encompassed by Him in all of His ways. To know His ways, I must spend time with Him so He can commune with me and express Himself to me in that quality time. I can’t know anyone’s ways without making that investment.

What about you? Maybe you’ve never thought it was possible to be filled with the fullness of God, but as Paul prayed in this letter to the church at Ephesus, we must strive for it. Another step is that It goes beyond our sense knowledge (those things our five senses can acquire) and is based on the love Christ has for us. Well, neither you nor I can get there if we have no inkling of the love that Christ has for us. Being rooted and grounded in the love of Christ is the essential key to communing with God freely. Jesus is the bridge that leads to God and His love is the foundation we must walk upon.

Eph 5:2-Live a life filled with love, following the example of Christ. He loved us and offered himself as a sacrifice for us, a pleasing aroma to God.

Eph 3:18-19-18 And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is. 19 May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God.

John 15:9-“I have loved you even as the Father has loved me. Remain in my love.

I’m not closing out this blog with this big revelation only a simple one that ties everything together. Christ loves you! Once you and I get that fact deep down in our hearts by faith…then the fullness of God will be our expectation.
