					<description><![CDATA[I am struck today by the name of this site:  Words That Surround Your Soul.  ...  You might think that it is your spirit-man that needs the ascendancy, not the Soul. ... The great Apostle John clears something up for us.  III John 2 says &quot;Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth&quot;. ...  We are attacked and afflicted primarily in our minds and emotions, both part of the Soul.  Renewing of the mind, by the Word, is how we get over into victory.  John indicates that we need to address what goes on in our Souls, in order to turn things around.  And he says &quot;above all&quot;.  And his declaration is earnest, &#039;cos he knows.  He&#039;s under the unction of the Holy Spirit, God-breathing His Word at the pen of John, opening up HOW we humans are to function in this earth around all the noise.  The noise affects our mind and our emotions.  We renew our minds over the noise, so that the Word is louder than the other noise.  THEN, and ONLY THEN, does the spirit-man gain the ascendancy, and our souls and our bodies fall in line.  This is how it works.  Every time. ...
